Nothing is published without your approval. A person reads every page, and the proof review happens after the $350 balance is paid and the proof is released.
Some organizing and drafting steps may be software-assisted. Human review remains part of the process, with no hidden claim that software replaces an editor.
The Author Launch is $500 total: $150 to start and $350 due when the book is ready, before proof release or shipping. If the manuscript is longer than 25,000 words, we price the extra in writing first.
We do not promise sales, income, royalties, reviews, rankings, or press coverage. We promise careful work and a finished book within the agreed scope.

The deposit starts editing, design, formatting, and cover work. If you withdraw before editing begins, it is refunded in full. Once editing begins, it is earned. The remaining $350 is due before the proof is released or shipped; then you review it with one correction round before publication.
